Pork Chops and Rice

  • 4-6 Johnston’s Pork Chops
  • salt and pepper or seasoning of choice to taste
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushrooms with liquid


  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper or seasoning of choice. Brown pork chops over medium-high heat.
  • Put 1 cup uncooked rice in roasting pan.
  • Sprinkle 1 package soup mix over rice.
  • Drain 1 can mushrooms (keep liquid) and put over rice.
  • Add water to mushroom liquid to make 2 1/4 cups. Pour over rice.
  • Place browned pork chops on top. Cover.
  • Cook 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
