Tropical Pork Chops
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp prepared mustard
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 ½ tbsp soya sauce
- ⅛ tsp garlic salt
- ⅛ tsp onion salt
- 4 Johnston’s Boneless Pork Loin Chops
- salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup water
- ¼ cup pineapple chunks
- hot cooked rice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine first 7 ingredients, cover and simmer until sugar is dissolved, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper. In a skillet, cook chops, onion and garlic in oil until meat is browned. Add water and reserved sauce. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes until meat is cooked to 140°F . Add more water if needed. Stir in pineapple and heat through.
- Serve over rice.
