Chiho Gourmet meats was founded in Vancouver in 1985 by the Teranishi family. Their focus was to create a traditional gourmet meat processing business that would serve the local Vancouver Japanese market. Chiho’s reputation has grown as a business that prides itself in the highest standards of quality and service. Chiho’s business has flourished from it’s original handful of retail customers into a distribution network that serves many Vancouver restaurants and institutions.
