Candied Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 lb Johnston’s Bacon sliced
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 - 1 ½ cups brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Place a piece of parchment paper between a cookie sheet and a cooling rack
- Arrange bacon on cooling rack ensuring the bacon slices are not touching each other
- Brush maple syrup over bacon slices
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the coated bacon
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until bacon is fully cooked and sugar has a soft candied look
- Remove from oven and cool
- Great as a sweet garnish or to add into baking breads and desserts
