Maui Pork Sliders with Grilled Pineapple & Bourbon Bacon

Ingredients
- 8 slider buns
- 8 fresh pineapple slices
- 16 slices bourbon bacon
- 4 slices apple smoked cheddar halved
- dijon mustard
- mayonnaise
Patties
- ⅓ lb Ground BC Beef
- ⅓ lb Johnston's Ground Pork
- ⅓ lb Johnston’s Bacon diced
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak spice
- 1 Tbsp red onion diced
- ¼ cup Maui sauce
Bourbon Bacon - Marinate for 24 hours
- 16 slices Johnston’s Bacon
- 1 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Bourbon
- ½ cup brown sugar
Maui Sauce
- 2 cups soya sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp ginger grated
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
Instructions
- Grill Patties, Bourbon Bacon, and Pineapple Slices.
- Brush with Maui Sauce.
- Place sliced cheese on patties.
- Assemble slider.
