Lickety Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
- 2 cups dry split green peas
- 1 small potato diced
- 8 cups water boiling
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 medium carrot finely grated
- 1 3" square Johnston’s Ham Bone
- Johnston’s Cooked Ham cubed
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in large casserole dish. Cover. Put in a slow cooker or microwave on medium high for 45-55 minutes or until peas are tender. Stir every 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
- Helpful Hint: freezes well
