Grilled Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork Panini

Ingredients
- 8 slices round sourdough bread
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 4-6 cups prepared macaroni and cheese the cheesier the better
- 4-5 cups pulled pork prepared with BBQ sauce*
- 12 strips Johnston’s Bacon cooked
- 12 slices havarti or jack cheese
- 8 red pepper thinly sliced rings
- 12 asparagus spears blanched
Instructions
- Butter both sides of each bread slice
- Assemble Panini: 1 bread slice, 1 cheese slice, 1-1.5 cups of macaroni & cheese, 1 cup of pulled pork, 3 bacon strips, 2 pepper rings, 3 asparagus spears, 2 cheese slices, topped with 1 bread slice
- Place sandwich in a hot Panini grill until cheese is melted. Alternatively, grill both sides of sandwich on a frying pan over medium heat until cheese is melted
- Tip: To have and eat your sandwich faster, use warm pulled pork and macaroni & cheese
