Barbecue Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 Johnston’s Pork Chops about 1" thick
- salt and pepper or seasoning of choice
Sauce
- ¼ cup onions chopped
- ¼ cup celery diced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Combine sauce ingredients and bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and keep warm
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper or your favourite seasoning
- Brown pork chops over medium high heat on a cast iron pan. Sear about 3-4 mins each side. If you are not using a cast iron, place seared chops on a casserole dish
- Pour heated sauce over chops
- Finish the chops off in oven for about 6-10 minutes until internal temperature reads 140°F. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes until temperature rises to 145°F. Enjoy!
